What could a home battery mean for your household?
Our new calculator helps you explore that question using your electricity consumption, solar generation, electricity tariff and installation budget. It provides a clear first view of potential electricity savings, solar self-consumption and payback under your chosen assumptions.
- Compare storage quantities: choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 RESS, or enter an individual quantity from 1 to 12.
- Include your inverter: select a manufacturer and model to see the connection route and how the documented voltage range affects the usable-energy estimate.
- Use relevant starting values: reference electricity and solar data cover all 27 EU countries. Replace these with your own tariff and roof data for a more relevant estimate.
- Account for your investment: enter your installed price and any expected grant or tax rebate as a separate credit.
- Keep your results: download a four-page PDF with your inputs, results, annual figures, assumptions and sources. No registration is required.
RESS is our sodium-ion home battery, with 9.3 kWh nominal energy per unit. The calculator also includes a provisional sizing recommendation to help you compare options. Multi-unit and rack configurations remain subject to project confirmation.
