Typical Applications

Starter and SLI Battery Systems

Up to 300A of pulse current supports starter and starting-lighting-ignition systems that require high current over a short period. Controlled sub-zero charging is especially valuable for vehicles and equipment that must remain ready in winter conditions.

Outdoor and Cold-Climate Equipment

The wide operating-temperature range makes the cell relevant for outdoor machinery, winterized systems, remote equipment and applications where conventional cells may require additional heating.

Industrial Mobility and Robotics

AGVs, AMRs, utility vehicles and robotic platforms benefit from strong continuous power, rapid peak-current response and reliable operation across a wide temperature range.

UPS, Backup Power and Peak-Power Buffers

Fast current delivery makes the cell suitable for UPS, emergency backup, high-current actuators and hybrid battery architectures that need a compact power buffer for short, demanding load events.

Why Choose the 32140 Ultra High Power Cell?

Charge Below Zero

Many conventional battery cells must be heated above 0°C before charging can begin. The 32140 Ultra High Power Cell supports controlled charging down to -20°C under defined limits. In suitable systems, this can reduce waiting time, heater energy demand and dependence on separate pre-heating equipment.

The battery management system must apply the temperature-dependent current, voltage and state-of-charge limits defined in the technical datasheet.

Extreme High Power

The cell is engineered for applications with demanding peak and continuous current requirements. At 10°C to 45°C, it can deliver up to 180A continuously and up to 300A for 3 seconds. This makes it a strong fit for motors, starters, actuators, power tools and backup systems that require immediate current delivery.

High output remains available below freezing with temperature-specific current limits. The complete discharge map is provided in the technical datasheet for pack-level implementation.

Easy System Integration

The familiar cylindrical format, 10Ah capacity and 3.0V nominal voltage support compact, modular battery packs. Series and parallel configurations can be adapted to the required voltage, capacity and current, while the cylindrical form factor fits established cell-handling and assembly processes.

Four cells in series provide a 12V nominal battery architecture. Final charger, BMS and system compatibility must be validated against the complete operating-voltage window.
